How to Make Aged Paper: A Simple 5-Minute Craft


As a calligraphy lover, I know that aged paper can give a mysterious vibe to your final works. The good news is, you can easily achieve this look using just a few things from around your home - and it takes very little effort!

What You Need:

- Printing paper

- Black tea bag or coffee grounds in a small pouch

- Water

- A lighter

Steps:

1. Wet your tea bag.

2. Spread it onto your paper and smudge it until you achieve the color you desire.

3. Flip the paper over and repeat the process on the other side.

4. Let the paper dry on a flat surface.

5. Once dried, you can cut the paper into your favorite shapes.

6. You can also use a lighter to slowly burn the edges and stylize it further.

And that's it! You've got yourself some beautifully aged paper to use in your next project.

A few tips:

- If the paper doesn't achieve your desired color the first time, you can repeat steps 1-4.

- Be careful with step 6 - it's best to do this by the sink.
