The Fig - AUREI's most iconic design
About our Fig Design
At the heart of our signature collection lies a captivating design - the cross-section of a fig. This simple yet profound motif holds deep significance, serving as both the centerpiece of our logo and the inspiration behind our most cherished pieces.

Designer's inspiration
Hi, my name is Mia and I am the designer for AUREI. Today, I am excited to share the inspirational stories behind our iconic fig designs.
While working for a Parisian fashion jewelry brand as a designer in 2019, I was blessed with an abundance of creative ideas and an amazing work location. The greatest benefit of living in Paris for me was the access to the city's most beautiful historical cathedrals on every corner. It was during those peaceful moments in these sacred spaces that I deepened my faith in God, which continues to this day.

Whenever I feel down or stressed, I find solace in visiting local churches, praying, and studying the Bible. Many things mentioned in the scriptures are deeply symbolic, and what has grabbed my attention the most are the everyday foods we encounter. I wanted to bring these elements into my designs and art, to spread God's love and message in an artistic way.

The fig represents life, abundance, and spiritual growth. It is a humble yet nourishing fruit, is rich in biblical references, and its natural beauty have always captivated me. By incorporating the fig motif into the designs, I hope to inspire others to find comfort and connection in the divine through the simple, yet profound, gifts of nature.

Bible Verses about Fig
I aim to uplift and inspire through timeless, meaningful jewelry. May the Fig remind you to seek solace in your faith, find nourishment in life's simple pleasures, and cultivate a spirit of gratitude each day. Here are some fig related bible verses:
21 “Fear not, O land;
be glad and rejoice,
for the Lord has done great things!
22 Fear not, you beasts of the field,
for the pastures of the wilderness are green;
the tree bears its fruit;
the fig tree and vine give their full yield.
- Joel 2:21-22 ESV
The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree
6 And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
7 And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’
8 And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure.
9 Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”
- Luke 13:6-9 ESV
Jesus Curses the Fig Tree
12 On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry.
13 And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
14 And he said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it.
- Mark 11:12-20 ESV
